In between 2330 hrs of 10/07/2009 and 0430 hrs of 11/07/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Mohammad T (55) R/o Kolpedabailu Maladi village Belthangady Taluk by breaking the back door lock and committed a theft of Gold ornaments and Cash Rs. 6,000/ all in worth Rs. 2,00,000/.

- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. In between 1930 hrs and 2000 hrs of 13/04/2009 some unknown culprits committed a theft of Hero Honda Fashion motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-8865 belonging to one Preetham Nayak R/o Lower Bendoor Mangalore that was parked in the parking place of Hotel Taj at Hampanakatte Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 16, 000/.

- A case of Cruelty by Husband and relatives has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station on the complaint of one Fathima (26) R/o Ullal Mangalore. In the complaint it is alleged that her husband Iqbal Mahammad and his relatives Mahammad, Pathunhi nad Shehnaaz gave physical and mental harassment to her owing to family dispute.

No. KA-19-B-124 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Vijay Kumar (45) R/o PWD Quarters Bondel Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Traffic West Police Station. On 11/07/2009 at 1445 hrs near service bus stand at Mangalore one unknown driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-2289 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Balakrishna Shetty (35) R/o Kasaragod Kerala State a pedestrian and caused him sustained simple injuries. Further the driver of car escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Traffic East Police Station. On 11/07/2009 at 1800 hrs one driver of Scorpio car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-8123 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Kamalaksha Head constable of Traffic East PS and caused him grievous injuries while he was on duty at Bendoorwell Mangalore.

On 09/07/2009 at 1145 hrs on NH 48 near Rajadhani complex at Uppinangady Town one unknown driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-30-B-2786 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Kamala (55) R/o Nattibailu Uppinangady village Puttur Taluk a pedestrian and caused her sustained grievous injuries.

- A case under Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 10/07/2009 at 2000 hrs one Elyanna Gowda (70) R/o Nekkiladi Alankaru village Puttur Taluk attempted to commit suicide by consuming poison in his house owing to personal problem. Further he was admitted to Govt. hospital at Puttur where he was declared dead while under treatment on the same day at 2230 hrs.
- A case under Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 10/07/2009 at 1200 hrs one Purushothama (30) R/o Kulechava Rekhya village Belthangady Taluk committed suicide by consuming poison in his house owing to personal problem.
