In between 2200 hrs of 06/07/2009 and 0830 hrs of 07/07/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the Planet Mobile & Audio shop at Ujire village Belthangady Taluk belonging to one Chidananda (30) R/o Belthangady Town by removing the roof tiles and committed theft of 05 mobiles and 02 MP3 players all in worth Rs. 24,500/.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Traffic West Police Station. On 07/07/2009 at 0815 hrs on MG road at Mangalore one driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-9574 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a scooty scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-3428. As a result scooty scooter rider Suparna (19) R/o Kodialbail Mangalore and Sudeshna pillion rider of said scooty scooter sustained grievous injuries.

On 07/07/2009 at 0845 hrs near bus stand at Marnamikatte Mangalore one Sharath Shetty (36) R/o Atthavara Mangalore passenger of the bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-311 while getting down from the bus, the driver of bus moved the bus in a negligent manner due which he fell down from the bus and sustained simple injuries.

On 07/07/2009 at 0930 hrs at Kuntal Palke Bandaru village Belthangady Taluk one Thimmappa driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-A-2510 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Baby (23) R/o Bandaru village Belthangady Taluk, Shobha and Rathna who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.

On 02/07/2009 at 0830 hrs at Kaikamba Kandavara village Mangalore Taluk one Subramanya (48) R/o Kairangala village Bantwal Taluk passenger of the bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-857 while getting down from the bus, the driver of bus moved the bus in a negligent manner due which he fell down from the bus and sustained simple injuries.

On 05/07/2009 at 1600 hrs at Brahmagiri Paranki village Belthangady Taluk one Ravindra Bhat driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-8524 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Mutthappa Poojary (60) R/o Macchina village Belthangady Taluk, Lalitha and Premanath who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On06/07/2009 at 1015 hrs near Merihill junction at Mangalore one driver of Maruthi Vaganar car bearing Reg. No. KL-14-G-6000 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-7590. As a result auto rickshaw driver Manjunath B. Jogi (57) R/o Gurunagara Merihill Mangalore and Pushpalatha who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 06/06/2009 at 1000 hrs one Kanthappa Shetty (37) R/o Armady Maninalkoor village Bantwal Taluk attempt to commit suicide by consuming poison in his house owing to health problem. Further he was admitted to A.J. hospital at Mangalore where he declared dead while under treatment on 07/07/2009 at 1430 hrs.
