- A case of Burglary has been registered in Sullia Police Station. In between 2300 hrs and 0530 hrs of 08/07/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Moidu C. (48) R/o Boruguude Sullia Town by breaking the back door lock and committed a theft of gold ornaments worth Rs. 90,000/.
- A case of Burglary has been registered in Sullia Police Station. In between 2100 hrs of 08/07/2009 and 1100 hrs of 09/07/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the Apoorva Jewelers at Kukkujadka Amaramudnoor village Sullia Taluk by breaking the shutter lock and committed a theft of silver ornaments worth Rs. 24,000/.

- A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 09/07/2009 at 1130 hrs accused Sudhakara Gowda and Sunanda abused one Sundari (30) R/o Pijakkala Koyyur village Belthangady Taluk in filthy language near her house and assaulted her husband by hand and with stone and also gave life threat to them owing to civil dispute between them.

- A case of Fatal road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station. Where in one Kunhi has been declared dead while under treatment on 08/07/2009 at 2130 hrs. The said Kunhi was seriously injured by a motorcycle in a road traffic accident on 20/06/2009 at 0830 hrs in front of Prabhu building at Sullia Town and admitted to the Wenlock hospital at Mangalore. In this connection a case has been already registered in Sullia Police Station.
- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 08/07/2009 at 1515 hrs at Marilu Kemminje village Puttur Taluk one driver of Maruthi Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-21-M-5001 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-R-2230. As a result motorcycle rider one Avinash (21) R/o Kaverikatte Puttur Town sustained serious injuries. Further he admitted to KMC hospital at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on 09/07/2009 at 1240 hrs.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 09/07/2009 at 1145 hrs at Vinobha Nagara Jalsoor village Sullia Taluk one Manjappa driver of Tata Sumo vehcile bearing Reg. No. KA-19-M-9111 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which Tata Sumo fell into a roadside ditch. As a result Manjappa driver of Tata Sumo vehicle and 5 other passengers who were traveling in the said Tata Sumo vehicle sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 06/07/2009 at 0800 hrs on Mangalore-Bangalore road at 34th Nekkilady village Belthangady Taluk one Abdul Basheer driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-43-1861 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-3768. As a result car driver sharath Kumar and Rakesh Shetty who was traveling in the said car sustained simple injuries.

R/o Kaverikatte Puttur Town in filthy language near his house and assaulted him with with rod owing to trivial issue.
- A case under Hurt has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 09/07/2009 at 1130 hrs accused Rajesh Gowda and Sundari assaulted one Sudhakara Gowda (40) R/o Pijakkala Koyyuru village Belthangady Taluk with wooden stick near his house owing to civil dispute between them.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 08/07/2009 at 1500 hrs one Ashraf @ Mohammed Ashraf (23) R/o Basthi Padpu Ullal Mangalore accidentally slipped into the sea at Uchila Mangalore and died due drowning.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 09/07/2009 at 1700 hrs in the Ship at NMPT Mangalore one Skopchanov Dimitar Ivanov (60) R/o Bulgaria Nation developed chest pain and died on the spot.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 09/07/2009 at 1130 hrs one Baby (23) D/o Koragappa Gowda R/o Kokkada village Belthangady Taluk committed suicide by consuming poison near her house owing to personal problem.
