In between 2000 hrs of 13/07/2009 and 0800 hrs of 14/07/2009 some unknown culprits committed theft of a tyre with accessories from the car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-9316 belonging to one Vinma H. Shetty (29) R/o Kadri Kambala Mangalore that was parked near his house. The stolen property is worth Rs. 6,000/.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Traffic East Police Station. On 13/07/2009 at 1800 hrs near Bunts Hostel circle at Mangalore one driver of Tipper Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-1106 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Maruthi Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-5749 driven by one Naveen Kumar Rai (27) R/o Olamogaru village Puttur Taluk. As a result the Maruthi Omni car got damaged. No causalities reported.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 14/07/2009 at 0845 hrs near Mooru Kaveri junction at Thalipady village Mangalore Taluk one driver of Mahindra tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-2818 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against Swift car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-2921 driven by one Laxman Poojary (29) R/o Kudripadavu Kallamandkur village Mangalore Taluk. As a result the Swift car got damaged. No causalities reported.

On 13/07/2009 at 1730 hrs accused Pradeep and Harish Poojary abused one Ananda Devadiga (34) R/o Kolpe Theka Yedapadavu village Mangalore Taluk in filthy language near his house and assaulted him with iron rod and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

On 13/07/2009 at 1830 hrs accused Hariyappa, Chandu and Ramesha criminally restrained one Udaya Saliyan (37) R/o Gurupura Muloor village Mangalore Taluk near his house and assaulted him with wooden stick owing to trivial issue.

On 13/07/2009 at 1800 hrs at Beejada Palke Naravi village Belthangady Taluk accused one Vishwanatha Devadiga R/o Bailabari Naravi village Belthangady assaulted one Sanjeeva Devadiga with wooden stick and gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

On 14/07/2009 at 1045 hrs accused Mohammed Iqbal (30), Mohammed Basheer and Irfan Ahammed picked up quarrel and started fighting over trivial issue in a public place at Kadathpalli Mangalore. - A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 12/07/2008 at 1245 hrs one dead body of Rizwan (18) R/o Padu village Bantwal Taluk was found near Seashore at Thaneer Bhavi Panambur Mangalore. The death seems to be due drowning.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 14/07/2009 at 1330 hrs one unknown male dead body aged about 30 - 35 yrs was found near Seashore at Kasaba Bengere Panambur Mangalore. The death seems to be due drowning.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. In between 2130 hrs and 2230 hrs of 13/07/2009 one Usha W/o Basavaraju R/o Kulai village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging in her house owing to personal problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 14/07/2009 at 1230 hrs one Laxmana (45) R/o 9th Block Madya village Mangalore Taluk accidentally fell down in his house due to some illness and died on the spot.
