On 05/07/2009 at 1800 hrs accused one Somashekara criminally restrained one Saraswathi W/o Narayana Naik R/o Sevaje Devachalla village Sullia Taluk at Adikehithlu Nelsarukemraje village Sullia Taluk and abused her in filthy language and assaulted her by hand owing to trivial issue.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Traffic East Police Station. On 06/07/2009 at 2130 hrs near Shanthi Kiran road at Nanthoor Mangalore one driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-01-D-9626 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-M-9825. As a result one Vishal Fernandez (29) R/o Mallikatte Mangalore driver of car sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 05/07/2009 at 1530 hrs at Nagoori Kankanady Mangalore one Vasudeva driver of KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-2183 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Mahadevappa R/o Kendoor village Bangalakote District a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

On 03/07/2009 at 1830 hrs at Nagoori Mangalore one Sathyendra driver of auto rickshaw driver drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Vamana Ameen (65) R/o Alape Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 05/07/2009 at 1900 hrs at Chilimbi Haleyangady village Mangalore Taluk one Shashidhara driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-20-A-245 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Doddanna S. Kundar a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

- A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 06/07/2009 at 1830 hrs on credible information PSI Uppinangady PS along with staff intercepted a New auto rickshaw near bus stand at Kaverlu 34 Nekkilady village Puttur Taluk and seized 26 liquor worth Rs. 910/ from the auto rickshaw by arresting driver of said auto rickshaw one Umesha (30) R/o Pacchady Beliyoor village Bantwal Taluk, which was being transported illegally. The auto rickshaw has also been seized. The total value of the seized property including the auto rickshaw is around Rs. 70,910/.
- A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 05/07/2009 at 1930 hrs on credible information PSI Bantwal Town PS along with staff conducted a raid on open place at Kudanegudde Bantwal Town and seized 20 liquor bottles (each 180 ML) of worth Rs. 760/ by arresting one Bhoja Poojary (47) R/o Bantwal Town.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 05/07/2009 at 1700 hrs one Bharath (04) S/o Jayamma R/o Kallududde Noojibalthila village Puttur Taluk accidentally consumed poison in his house. Further he was admitted to Govt. hospital at Kadaba where he declared dead while under treatment on same day at 2000 hrs.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 06/07/2009 at 1300 hrs one Baby (65) R/o Kirlaya Aranthodu village Sullia Taluk accidentally slipped into the pond while taking bath near her house and died due drawing.

- A case of Man missing has been registered in Uppiangady Police Station. On 05/07/2007 at 1730 hrs one Shiva (23) R/o Holenarasipura Taluk who went to pond at Shirady village Puttur Taluk. There he accidentally fell into the pond and got washed away. He has not been traced so far.
- A case of Man missing has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 04/07/2009 at 0900 hrs one Shivaramayya @ Shivanna (23) R/o Bangalore who went to Nethravathi river at Dharmasthala village Belthangady Taluk. There he accidentally fell in to river and got washed away. He has not been traced so far.
