- A case of Burglary has been registered in Ullal Police Station. In between 1115 hrs and 1245 hrs of 23/07/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Sukanya (37) R/o Uchila Sonkolige Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the window grills and committed a theft of Gold ornaments worth Rs. 58,000/.
- A case of Burglary has been registered in Sullia Police Station. In between 1700 hrs of 22/07/2009 and 0630 hrs of 23/07/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the Vidyabhodhini High school at Balila village Sullia Taluk by breaking the door lock and committed theft of cash Rs. 5400/.

- A case of Ordinary Theft has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. In between 1230 hrs and 1330 hrs of 17/07/2009 some unknown culprits committed theft two gas cylinders belonging to one Abdul Hameed (55) R/o Bokkapatna church Mangalore that was kept near Auto Park shop at MPT road Mangalore. The value of stolen property is to be estimated.

- A case under Criminal restraint, Hurt along with Attempt to Murder has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 23/07/2009 at 1030 hrs accused Dhanraj, Shankara and Avinash criminally restrained one Rajeshwari (35) W/o Vishwanatha R/o Temple road Mangalore near Bajilakeri Basthi School at Mangalore and assaulted her with sickle and tried to kill her owing previous enmity.
- A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Cruelty by husband and his relatives along with Hurt has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station on the complaint of one Maimuna (27) W/o Ismail R/o near Water Tank at Kunjathbail Mangalore. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Ismail (husband) and his relatives Khathijamma (50), Abdul Rahiman (38) and Naseema (32) abused one Maimuna in filthy language and also gave physical and mental harassment to her to bring more dowry and assaulted her by hand.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 23/07/2009 at 1900 hrs at Moorje Pilathabettu village Bantwal Taluk one driver of KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-2057 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-2170 due which auto rickshaw, capsized. As a result auto rickshaw driver Ramesh Gowda, Sesappa Moolya (45) R/o Kukkala village Belthangady Taluk, Latha, Manisha and Hrithishree who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained serious injuries. Further Kasthuri (47) succumbed to her injuries while on the way to hospital.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Traffic West Police Station. On 21/07/2009 at 1815 hrs near Bhat Nursing Home at Mannagudde Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-1452 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-4473 driven by one Nishalaxman R/o Krishnapura Mangalore. As a result car got damaged. No causality reported.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Traffic West Police Station. On 23/07/2009 at 1855 hrs near Post Office at Urwastore Mangalore one Harish driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-3399 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an Advertisement board and streetlight. As a result some passengers who were traveling in the said bus sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Traffic East Police Station. On 23/07/2009 at 1400 hrs near Fire Service Station at Kuntikana Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-8589 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-8589. As a result scooter rider one Bhaskara A. (27) R/o Yekkur Mangalore sustained simple injuries.

- A case under Criminal restraint along with Hurt has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 23/07/2009 at 0930 hrs accused one Shamshuddin criminally restrained one Nagesha K. R/o Bejadakatte Goonadka village Sullia Taluk near his house and assaulted him by hand owing to trivial issue.
