- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 15/07/2009 at 1115 hrs at Kutelu Uppinangady village Puttur Taluk one Dayananda driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-8899 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Kanthu (65) a pedestrain and caused him serious injuries. Further Kanthu succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

On 01/07/2009 at 0900 hrs accused Sukumara, Indrani, Shakthivelu and Annikili Criminally trespassed into the premises of house belonging to one Muniswami K. R/o Kandadka Sullia Town and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him with wooden stick owing to trivial issue.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 13/07/2009 at 1100 hrs one Ther (70) R/o Kasaragod Taluk Kerala District accidentally fell down at Battamgaya Aletti village Sullia Taluk due to some illness. Further he was admitted to Periyar Medical. Hospital at Kannur District Kerala State where he was declared dead while under treatment on the same day at 1930 hrs.
