  • A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. In between 2000 hrs and 2115 hrs of 28/07/2009 some unknown culprits committed a theft of Hero Honda motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-Q-5545 belonging to one Praveen Kumar (26) R/o Classic Apartments Hampankatte Mangalore that was parked near Harsha Show room K.S. Rao road at Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 20,000/.
  • A case of MV Theft has been registered in Barke Police Station. In between 2100 hrs of 24/07/2009 and 0715 hrs of 25/07/2009 some unknown culprits committed a theft of Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-4853 belonging to one Arun Kumar (29) R/o Kodavuru Udupi that was parked near Bejai church hall at Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 21,000/.

  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 28/07/2009 at 1715 hrs at Thokkottu Permannuru village Mangalore Taluk one Niyal rider of Hyundai car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MA-1205 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Issaq (34) R/o Vamanjoor Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 29/07/2009 at 1300 hrs on NH 13 at Alangaru village Mangalore Taluk one Raghu Mugera driver of Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-20-B-706 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against Scorpio bearing Reg. No. KA-20-MJ-9 and Maruti WagonR car bearing Reg. No. KA-20-N-2570. As a result Dinesh Shetty driver of Scorpio car, Himakara, Shivappa, Ramesha, Venkappa and Hemalatha who were traveling in the said Maruti WagonR car sustained grievous injuries.
  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 24/07/2009 at 1915 hrs at Kambla cross Puthige village Mangalore Taluk one Vinod Pinto rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EA-416 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-6229. As a result Francis Crasta (31) R/o Takode Puchemogru village Mangalore rider of said motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-6229 sustained grievous injuries.
  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 26/07/2009 at 1015 hrs at Mayyarabailu Bantwal Taluk one unkwon driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-3615 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Narayana Acharya (49) R/o Kinnibettu Amtadi village Bantwal Taluk, Sharadha and Shruthi who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.
  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 29/07/2009 at 1420 hrs at Aranthodu Sullia Taluk one Cheluvaraj driver of Mini lorry bearing. Reg. No. KA-12-7655 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Maruti Vaganor car driven by one Dayananda B.C R/o R.K Nagar Mysore District. As a result car got damaged. No casualty reported.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

  • A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. In between 2000 hrs of 29/07/2009 and 0730 hrs of 30/07/2009 one dead body of Fr. James Mukhulel (40) R/o Kutripadi Belthangady Taluk was found near Kuntadi Thotathadi Village Belthangady Taluk. Cause of death is still to be ascertained.
