On the interviewing night of 31/07/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Mohammed (41) R/o Amutoor village Bantwal Taluk by breaking the front door lock and committed theft of Cash Rs.1, 500 and gold ornaments all in worth Rs.24, 900/.

- A case of MV theft has been registered in Barke Police Station. In between 2200 hrs of 31/07/2009 and 0500 hrs of 01/08/2009 some unknown persons committed theft of an Indica car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-2639 belonging to one Ranjini K. (56) R/o Bhavanthi Nagara Kodialbail Mangalore, which was parked in front of her house. The Indica car is worth Rs. 3,50,000/.

No. KA-20-A-1312 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. MP-09-JV-7988. As a result motorcycle rider one Hemanth sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 01/08/2009 at 1010 hrs at Parari Thiruvail village Mangalore Taluk one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-3829 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-35. As a result car driver one Deeviprasad Shetty M (38) R/o Moodabidri Mangalore sustained grievous injuries.

(55) R/o Kannur Mangalore pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.

On 31/07/2009 at 2230 hrs on Someshwara road at Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-9667 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Dayananda a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

On 01/08/2009 at 0830 hrs on NH-48 at Kalladka village Bantwal Taluk one Abdul Rahiman driver of Ambassador car bearing Reg. No. KA-18-8826 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an Indica car bearing Reg. No. KA-01-P-4327 driven by one Divya Varma (27) R/o Marnadu village Mangalore Taluk. As a result both vehicle got damaged. No causalities reported.

On 01/08/2009 at 0910 hrs at Harady Bannoor village Puttur Taluk one Ummer Farooq rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-3224 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an auto rickshaw due which auto rickshaw driver lost control over his vehicle and rammed to a Honda Activa scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-8803. As a result Mohammed Sharief pillion rider of motorcycle and Hemachandra rider of Honda Activa scooter sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 01/08/2009 at 1600 hrs at Poottukere Kuvettu village Belthangady Taluk one driver of KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-28-F-1508 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-A-1175. As a result auto rickshaw driver Abdul Basheer (45) R/o Poyyagudde Padangady village Belthangady Taluk and Sridhar Shetty who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

- A case under under Affray has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 01/08/2009 at 1030 hrs accused Raviraj, Vinod Kumar, Rama, Yathisha Kumar, Dinesha, Venkatesha, Devadas and Sunil picked up quarrel and started fighting over a trivial issue in public place near Railway Station at Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk. The Police arrested the accused and took up a case under affray.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 31/07/2009 one unknown male aged about 60 to 65 yrs accidentally fell down due some illness near Shree Dharmasthala Keshthra at Dharmasthala village Belthangady Taluk. Further he was admitted to Govt hospital at Belthangady where he declared dead while under treatment on 31/07/2009 at 1445. The death seems to be due to some illness.

- A case of Girl missing has been registered in Sullia Police Station. One Thara (18) R/o Banjikoody Ivarnadu village Sullia Taluk left her house on 01/08/2009 at 0900 hrs and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
