- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. In between 2100 hrs of 25/06/2008 and 0700 hrs of 26/06/2008 accused one Bairappa (24) R/o Soratooru village Gadag District committed theft of a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-13-E-3656 belonging to one Nagesh P. Rao (61) R/o near Shadimahal Mangalore that was parked in the premises of his house. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 15,000/.

- A case of Cruelty by Husband and relatives along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mulki Police Station on the complaint of one Sujatha W/o Devaraja R/o Palladala Ulepady village Mangalore Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that her husband Devaraja gave physical and mental harassment to Sujatha to bring more dowry and also gave life threat to her.
- A case under Procuration of minor girl along with Kidnapping has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 17/08/2009 accused one Arun D Souza R/o Ajjibettu Bantwal Taluk procured a minor girl R/o Bolangadi Panemangalore village Bantwal Taluk. Further Arun D Souza kidnapped her.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 24/08/2009 at 0930 hrs near Landlink Cross road at Konchady Mangalore one Vikram K. driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-20-9046 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner due which one Rajesh (35) R/o Ballal Bhag Mangalore who was traveling in the said bus was thrown out of the bus and sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Traffic East Police Station. On 22/08/2009 at 1700 hrs on NH-17 at Barebailu Mangalore one driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-6068 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly due which one Hemanth Kumar (30) R/o Kumpala Mangalore who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw got thrown out from auto rickshaw and sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Traffic East Police Station. On 23/08/2009 at 15150 hrs on NH-17 at Barebailu Mangalore one driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-5461 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Kunhinna Shetty (65) R/o Naynadu village Bantwal Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

On 23/08/2009 at 1950 hrs in front of MRF Show Room at Kuloor Mangalore one Lancy D’ Souza rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-5056 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-9091. As a result one Chadrahasa Alva R/o Gandhinagara Mangalore rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-9091 sustained grievous injuries.

On 23/08/2009 at 1615 hrs near Honnakatte junction at Kulai village Mangalore Taluk one Jerold D’ Silva rider of Honda Activa scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-7941 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Rajeevi (43) R/o Kulai village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
