- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 26/08/2009 at 2200 hrs at Goremaru Kallige village Bantwal Taluk one Vithesh driver of Auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-8368 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which the auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Shobhan Kumar R/o Mooda village Bantwal Taluk a passenger of said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 28/08/2009 at 1915 hrs on NH 48 at Dasakodi Balthila village Bantwal Taluk one Chennaveera Gowda driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. AP-02-V-5623 while moving he drove his vehicle in a negligently manner and collided against to one Praveen Kumar R/o Thuruvekere Taluk Tumkur District the cleaner of the said lorry who was working under the said lorry and caused him grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 28/08/2009 at 1100 hrs at Puchekatte Pajeeru village Bantwal Taluk one Charle driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AC-786 drove his vehicle in arash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which the bus fell into a road side ditch. As a result Vasantha Bhandari (59) R/o Pajeeru village Bantwal Taluk and other passengers who were traveling in the said bus sustained grievous injuries.
