- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 10/08/2009 at 0850 hrs at Beeri Kotekaru villige Mangalore Taluk one Ismail Samshuddin driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MA-7788 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-15-7511 driven by one Sugunan (28) R/o Kasaragod District Kerala State. As a result both vehicles got damaged. No causalities reported.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Ullal Police Station. In between 0900 hrs and 1500 hrs of 12/08/2009 one Marshal Rodrigus (50) R/o Kondana Kotekaru village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to personal problem.

- A case of Boy missing has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. One Karthik Shetty (14) R/o Kulai village Mangalore Taluk went to Bharathi English Medium School at Kulaigudde Mangalore on 10/08/2009 at 0930 hrs and did not return to his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
