On 02/08/2009 at 1415hrs CPI Bantwal Circle along with his staff on credible information conducted raid in the house belonging to one Seetha R/o Gudde Angady Badagabellur village Bantwal Taluk. At the time of raid Police found 11 persons playing “Ander - Bahar” with cards. The Police seized cash Rs. 1,900/, 05 Mobile Phones, a motorcycle and playing cards from the spot by arresting Vishwanatha, Honnayya, Ramesha, Damodhara Kulal, Balakrishna Moolya, Manjappa Naik, Ramesh Poojary, Narayana Poojary, Abdul Khadar, Janardhana and Seetha who were indulging in gambling.
In this connection, a case has been registered against the arrested persons in Bantwal Rural PS U/s 79, 80 of the Karnataka Police Act.
