A case of Gambling under Karnataka Police Act has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 14/08/2009 at 1400hrs on credible information CPI Panambur Circle, PSI Bajpe PS along with staff conducted a raid on public place near Nasha bar at Kuppepadavu Kelinjaru village Mangalore Taluk and seized 02 cocks and cash Rs. 520/ by arresting Ashok Kumar, Bhaskar, Balakrishna, Shekar and Naveen who were indulged in betting on cock fighting. However accused Hiranyaksha Kotian, Annu, Dinesh, Keshava Shetty, Thimmappa and Lokesh manages to escape from the scene.
In this connection, a case has been registered against the arrested persons in Bajpe PS U/s 87 of the Karnataka Police Act.
