- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urva Police Station. On 13/09/2006 at 1645 hrs near Ashoknagar Bustand Mangalore one Prasanth Fernandes rider of scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-3184 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against the bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-2535 from behind driven by one Jagadish Salian (39) R/o Jeppu Mangalore. As a result the scooter rider Prasanth Fernandes sustained simple injuries.

No KA-19-A-8128 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner due which one Mallikarjuna Nagappa Chikkappanavar (25) R/o Dodi Halli Hirekeruru Taluk Haveri district cleaner of said Lorry got thrown out of the Lorry and sustained simple injuries. The Lorry driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
