On 18/09/2006 in between 2100 hrs and 2130 hrs at Shivapete near Puttur Bypass road Puttur Taluk one unknown vehicle driver drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Guruva (35) R/o Thenkila Kamnaru house Puttur Taluk a pedestrian and caused himserious injuries. He was admitted to Govt. hospital Puttur where he succumbed to his injuries. The vehicle driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

The auto rickshaw driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

As a result scooter rider one Nagesh Kottari (38) R/o Mullur village Mangalore Taluk sustained simple injuries.

On 16/09/2006 at 2100 hrs one unknown Tempo driver drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Nagana Gowda Patil (57) R/o Byadagi Taluk Haveri District employee of Mines and Geology Department who was on duty at Bajpe check post Mangalore Taluk. As a result Nagana Gowda Patil sustained grievous injuries. The Tempo driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

No. KA-19-MF-7867 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Damodhar Pursha (45) R/o Kaikamba Badagulappadi village Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

On 17/08/2006 at 1900 hrs at Seashore Kotepura Ullal village Mangalore Taluk one Venu Swamy Krishnan driver of Boat bearing Reg. No. FMNG 1138 / KDT 1789 drove his Boat in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another Boat bearing Reg. No. FMNG 912 belonging to one Abdul Rahiman (37) R/o Hoige bazaar Mangalore due which Boat bearing Reg. No. FMNG 912 capsized. As a result fish worth Rs. 1,00,000/ in the boat and the Boat got damaged. Total danage is approx Rs. 13,00,000/. No casualties reported however.

As a result the scooter rider one Somashekara (53) R/o Pilar Someshwar sustained grievous injuries.

As a result one Mohammed Ashraf (22) R/o Derlakatte Belma village Mangalore Taluk a passenger in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

No. KA-19-B-4888 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and he lost control over his vehicle a due which the auto rickshaw capsized. As a result one Nasiruddin (19) R/o Parthigudde Nandavara a passenger in the said Tempo rickshaw and one Azaruddin a pedestrian sustained simple injuries.
