Dr. Harsha P.S. an IPS Officer of 2004 batch has taken charge of Puttur Subdisivion as the Asst Supdt of Police yesterday i.e. 23rd September 2006 relieving Mr.Mitra Heraje the present incumbent.
Dr.Harsha basically hails from Chitragurga District of Karnataka. He is a Medical Doctor by education and has completed his MBBS from Ambedkar Medical College Bangalore in yr 2001.
He passed the Civil Services examination in the year 2003 and was selected for the Indian Police Service and allotted to the Karnataka Cadre 2004 Batch.
He has done his basic training from SVPNPA, Hyderabad and District practical training from Gulbarga district. Now after completing the training period, he has been posted to Puttur as ASP.
