- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 26/09/2006 at 1930 hrs at Marnamikatte Mangalore Taluk one Mohammed Zubair rider of Kinetic Nova Scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-0944 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly due which he lost control over his vehicle and dashed to an Electric pole. As a result pillion rider one Mohammed Rafiq (18) R/o Subhash Nagar Padeshwara Mangalore Taluk sustained simple injuries.

As a result one Joseph Touro (55) R/o Barebail Mangalore Taluk rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. CTX-4397 and pillion rider Juliana Lobo of the same motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.
