In between 15/09/2006 at 2130 hrs and 16/09/2006 at 0700 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Scorpio car bearing Reg. No KA-19-P-4269 belonging to one Jugul Saldhana R/o Jugul Manor Kadri Mangalore, which was parked at the car shed of his house. The car is worth Rs. 6,10,526/.

- A case of Outraging the modesty of woman, Hurt, House trespass along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Urva Police Station. On 15/09/2006 at 2300 hrs one Sunil Kumar R/o K R Puram Hassan District criminally trespassed into the house belonging to his wife Preethi (40) R/o Divyashree Apartments Bejai Mangalore and abused her in filthy language and assaulted by hand. He also assaulted Karunakara Shetty and Meena Shetty who came to help Preethi and gave life threat to them. The motive seems to be of marital dispute.

- A case of house gambling under Karnataka Police Act has been detected in Ullal Police Station limits. On 16/09/2006 at 2130 hrs on credible information PSI Ullal PS along with staff conducted a raid on K P Recreation club at Sri Krishna Complex Thokkotu Ullal village Mangalore Taluk. At the time of raid Police found 05 persons playing “Ander- Bahar” with cards. The Police seized cash Rs.1, 945/ and playing cards from the spot by arresting Kishore, Aural D’Souza (40), Louis D’Souza 52), Mohammed (58), Shabi D’Souza (45) and Fredrick D’Souza (44) who were indulged in gambling.
