• A case of Burglary has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. In between 1500 hrs of 28/04/2009 and 1045 hrs of 02/05/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the Govt. High school at Sajipanadu village Bantwal Taluk by breaking the window grills and committed a theft of computer mouse worth Rs. 500/.

• A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. In between 1130 hrs and 1230 hrs of 23/04/2009 some unknown culprits committed a theft of a Hero Honda Splendor motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-K-7540 belonging to one Shashidhara Pai that was parked at the parking place of KMC College at L.H.H Road Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs.14, 500/

• A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. In between 1300 hrs and 1345 hrs of 24/04/2009 some unknown culprits committed a theft of a Hero Honda Splendor Plus motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-5699 belonging to one Mohammad Shareef K.H (22) R/o Adkarepadpu Mangalore that was parked near New Chitra junction at Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs.25, 000/.

Fatal: 01

• A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 02/05/2009 at 1450 hrs on NH 17 near NMPT main gate at Panambur Mangalore one Asif driver of Tanker bearing Reg. No. KA-19-D-5995 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Rajesh (20) a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries. Further Rajesh succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 02/05/2009 at 1415 hrs on NH 17 at Vijaya sannidi Bappanadu village Mangalore Taluk one Nobert driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-5829 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Dinakara Salian (46) R/o Pakshikere Kemral village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

• A case under Rioting, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt, Dacoity along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 30/04/2009 accused Venkappa Gowda M, Harish Rai, Sudhir Rai, Poojary K.S, Mohana, Rajivi Rai, Suresha, Dasappa Rai, Padmanabha, Dinesha and 10 other unknown persons forming into an unlawful assembly and abused one Danan V (36) R/o Dharkashthu Bellare village Sullia Taluk in filthy language near Govt. hospital at Sullia Town and assaulted him by hand. Further they took away gold chain, wrist watch and a mobile from Danan forcibly and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

• A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 02/05/2009 at 2200 hrs accused Hassainar abused one Abdul Lathif (34) R/o Parliya Bantwal Mooda village Bantwal Taluk in filthy language near Rangoli hotel at Bantwal Mooda village Bantwal Taluk and assaulted him with stone owing to trivial issue.
