In between 1900 hrs of 22/05/2009 and 1800 hrs of 23/05/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the Higher Primary School at Aranthodu village Sullia Taluk by breaking the door lock and committed a theft of computer and UPS all in worth Rs. 24,000/.

On 23/05/2009 at 1400 hrs at Mundoorpalke Kokkada village Belthangady Taluk one Ravindra abused one Vimala (38) R/o Mundoorpalke Kokkada village Belthangady Taluk in filthy language and assaulted her by hand and also gave life threat to her owing to trivial issue.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 24/05/2009 at 1030 hrs near Bejai New road Mangalore one driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-7464 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Bajaj Pulsur motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-4623 driven by Mukesh (27) R/o Kattemane Gorigudda Mangalore. As a result Sathisha pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries. The car driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 24/05/2009 at 0615 hrs at Hamilton circle Mangalore one driver of Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AA-5595 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an Auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-1026. As a result Krishna Kumar (42) R/o near United sports club Mangalore and some passengers who were traveling in the said Auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 24/05/2009 at 0915 hrs at 5th cross Shivabagh Mangalore one driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-4247 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Tempo bearing Reg. No.KA-19-7986 driven by one Jagadish (29) R/o Pinto Lane Kadri Mangalore. As a result the Tempo got damaged. No causalities reported.

On 23/05/2009 at 2330 hrs near Ponnechari bridge Pranthya village Mangalore Taluk one Shankara (26) R/o Masthikatte Moodabidre driver of Auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-7825 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an Activa Honda scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-7963. As a result one Alwyn Lobo (33) R/o Masthikatte Pranthya village Mangalore Taluk pillion rider of said scooter sustained grievous injuries.

No. KA-19-V-5796 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against Selvaraj (50) R/o Barel layout Tony road Bangalore and Wazeer (37) R/o Bharath matha layout Bangalore pedestrians and caused them grievous injuries.

On 24/05/2009 at 0800 hrs near Town hall gate Mangalore one Jose abused one Nazeer R/o Sajipa Bantwal Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him with knife and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.
- A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Voluntarily causing hurt to deter public servant form his duty, Criminal force causing hurt to deter public servant from discharge of his duty along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station on the complaint of Ravindra Ankalagi (26) Forest guard. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Dogra, Dinesh and Ravi criminally stopped a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-K-4667 at Jodumarga Kokkada village Belthangady Taluk while Ravindra Ankalagi was on duty and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him with wooden stick and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.
