- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. In between 2030 hrs and 2140 hrs of 17/04/2009 some unknown culprits committed a theft of a Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-4498 belonging to one Arif Farvez (29) R/o Bretto compound Mangalore that was parked at the parking place of Lulu Centre at Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 45, 500/.

- A case of Outraging the modesty of woman along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 12/05/2008 at 1300 hrs accused Praksha Rodrigues (21) R/o Layeela Belthangady Taluk outraged the modesty of one Thrisha (03) and he also gave life threat to her father Sudhakara Poojary (30) R/o Mundooru village Karkala Taluk near their rented house at Kinigoli Mannagettu village Mangalore Taluk.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 12/05/2009 at 1500 hrs on NH 13 at Kudupukatte Kudupu village Mangalore Taluk one driver of Tipper lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-6663 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-3381. As a result rider of motorcycle Bhaskara sustained grievous injuries and died on the spot. Further Shekara pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 12/05/2009 at 1100 hrs on SH-88 at Obadai Sullia Town one driver of KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-09-F-4034 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a bicycle. As result one Thaslim rider of said bicycle rider sustained simple injuries. The bus driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 11/05/2009 at 1745 hrs in front of Ganjimata Panchayath at Badagulipady village Mangalore Taluk one Manohara rider of said motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-K-7985 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Shekara Sapaliga (53) R/o Alakepadavu house, Mooduperara village Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
