On 17/05/2009 at 2015 hrs on specific information PI Mangalore South PS along with staff conducted raid on open place near Hoige Bazar junction at Mangalore. At the time of raid Police found 07 persons playing “Ander - Bahar” with cards. Police seized cash Rs. 1, 700/ and playing cards from the spot by arresting Chitharanjan (40) R/o Bolara Mangalore, Amaranatha (63) R/o Bolara Mangalore, Lokesha (40) R/o Jappu Mangalore, Naveen (39) R/o Bolara Mangalore, Dinesh (41) R/o Mulihithlu, Mangalore, Bharath Kumar (42) R/o Mulihithlu, Mangalore and Annu Kanchan (42) R/o Hoige Bazar Mangalore who were indulging in gambling.
In this connection, a case has been registered against the arrested persons in Mangalore South PS U/s 87 of the Karnataka Police Act
