Fatal: 01
  • A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 18/05/2009 at 2030 hrs at Lalbagh Junction Mangalore one driver of Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AE-5225 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Lingana Gowda Patila a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries. Further he was admitted to Wenlock hospital at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on 19/05/2009 at 0900 hrs.

  • A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 19/05/2009 at 1830 hrs near Nisargadhama Nagara at Mudushedde village Mangalore Taluk one Praveen driver of Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-3899 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Damodar a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries and died on the spot.

  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 17/05/2009 at 2130 hrs near Ramdev Hall at Melkar Bantwal Taluk one driver of Car bearing Reg. No. KA-21-M-6637 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Koragappa (45) R/o Panjikallu village Bantwal Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 18/05/2009 at 0800 hrs at Nandavara cross Munnur village Bantwal Taluk one Rathnakara Shetty driver of Pick-Up vehicle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-A-9584 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-798. As a result motorcycle rider one Mahesh (25) R/o Sajipa Munnur village Bantwal Taluk sustained one simple injuries.

  • A case under Hurt has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 17/05/2009 at 2200 hrs accused Vinodh, Sunil and Babu assaulted one Joseph Varedha (42) R/o Valencia Mangalore by hand and with iron rod owing to trivial issue.

  • A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 19/05/2009 at 1700 hrs accused Robin abused one Ganesh (32) R/o Urwa stores Mangalore in filthy language and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 04

  • A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 14/05/2009 one Arbebold R/o Vamanjoor Mangalore was fell down due to heavy drunkness. Further he was admitted to Wenlock hospital at Mangalore where he was declared dead while under treatment.

  • A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panambur Police Station. In between 1300 hrs and 1500 hrs 19/05/2009 one Shankarappa (30) R/o R/o Baghalkote District committed suicide by hanging in at Baikampady Mangalore owing to personal problem.

  • A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. In between 2000 hrs and 2100 hrs of 18/05/2009 one Krishnappa Mera (30) R/o Ujire village Belthangady Taluk committed suicide by hanging near his house owing to personal problem.

  • A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 19/05/2009 one Utthayya Gowda (58) R/o Panathadi village Hosaduga Taluk Kasargod District Kearla State accidentally slipped into pond Payaswini river at Alletti village Sullia Taluk taking bath and died of drowning.
