- A case under Criminal restraint, Murder, Outraging the modesty of woman along with Hurt has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 15/05/2009 at 2000 hrs at Shanthi nagar Beluvayi village Mangalore Taluk accused Babu, Tauda, Seena and Pradeep criminally restrained Vasu R/o near Shanthi nagar Beluvayi village Mangalore Taluk and Rathna (30) R/o Shanthi nagar Beluvayi village Mangalore Taluk and murdered Vasu with wooden sticks. They also assaulted Rathna who came to help Vasu owing to civil dispute.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 15/05/2009 at 1330 hrs at Pelapparu Ilanthaila village Belthangady Taluk one Raghuveer driver of Tata Sumo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-3626 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Q-3538. As a result motorcycle rider one Dharnappa Gowda (40) sustained serious injuries. Further Dharnappa Gowda succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.
- A case of Fatal Road Accident has been registered in Ullal Police station. On 15/05/2009 at 2325 hrs on NH 17 at Adka Kotekaru village Mangalore Taluk one Victor Meschrenhas driver of Maruthi car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-3232 drove his vehicle drove his in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Chidananda (39) R/o Ramananda Nagar Kotekar village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries. Further he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on 16/05/2009 to 0600 hrs.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 15/05/2009 at 0445 hrs near bridge at Padupanambur village Mangalore Taluk one driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-23-7389 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a car bearing Reg. No.KA-17-M-6689. As a result Shriraj Bhat car driver, Shri Vidyahamsa Bharathi Swamiji (36) R/o Ambavana Dharwad District and Harishankar who were traveling in the said car sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 15/05/2009 at 1115 hrs at Bhami junction Bantwal Taluk one driver of Tipper lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-332 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against bus bearing Reg. No KA-19-9654. As a result Asha (32) R/o Miyaru village Karkala Taluk and some other passengers who were traveling in the said bus sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 14/05/2009 at 0715 hrs at Shiradi Belthangady Taluk one Jagadish driver of tanker bearing Reg. No. KA-13-A-2107 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another tanker bearing Reg. No. KA-05-C-4742. As a result Rajanna (25) driver of tanker bearing Reg. No. KA-05-C-4742 sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 14/05/2009 at 1500 hrs at Budujalu Netla village Belthangady Taluk one Sathisha driver of Santro car bearing Reg. No. KA-21-3908 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-K-1545. As a result motorcycle rider Sudarshan H and Abhishek pillion rider of the sais motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 15/05/2009 at 1900 hrs at Kalaara Kuturppady village Puttur Taluk one Rejayya rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-9015 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Ibrahim (28) R/o Kadaba village Puttur Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

- A case under Criminal trespass, Criminal restraint, Hurt along with Criminal Intimidation has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 15/05/2009 at 1030 hrs accused Shivananda Bhat criminally trespassed in to the land belonging to one Sundara (38) R/o Kabegodi Munnur village Mangalore Taluk and criminally restrained him and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him. The motive seems to be civil dispute between them.
