- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Urwa Police Station. In between 0545 hrs and 0625 hrs of 11/05/2009 some unknown culprits committed a theft of Hero Honda Slender motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-4722 belonging to one Prakash D’ Mello (31) R/o Ashoknagar Mangalore that was parked near Sequiera Jewelers at Kottara Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 17, 000/.

On 22/05/2009 at 1430 hrs near Attavara Mangalore accused Louis D’ Souza, Jennet D’ Souza and Joseph D’ Souza abused one Benny Fernandez (78) R/o Attavara Mangalore in filthy language and assaulted her by hand and also gave life threat to her owing to civil dispute.

On 21/05/2009 at 1645 hrs accused Mohana, Balakrishna, Poovappa, Monappa, Venkataramana, Radhakrishna, Narayana, Pushpa, Lakxmi and Parvathi forming into an unlawful assembly at Yedamangala village Sullia Taluk and criminally restrained one Seetharama N (42) R/o Nadumane Yedamangala village Sullia Taluk and abused him and his wife in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and with wooden stick and also gave life threat to them owing to previous enmity.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. In between 2100 hrs of 21/05/2009 and 22/05/2009 one Mohan (30) R/o Hubli District committed suicide by hanging in the shop at Kula Panjimogru village Mangalore Taluk owing to personal problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. In between 1800 hrs of 21/05/2009 and 0600 hrs of 22/05/2009 one Janardhana Acharya (56) R/o Moodumarnadu village Mangalore Taluk accidentally touched the electric wire near his house due which he got electrocuted and died on the spot.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. In 18/05/2009 and 0900 hrs of 22/05/2009 Prabhavathi (23) R/o Yermala Belalu village Belthangady Taluk and Krishnappa committed suicide by hanging at Muguthimajalu Belalu village Belthangady Taluk owing to personal problem.
