- A case under Cruelty by Husband along with Criminal Intimidation has been registered in Kadaba Police Station on the complaint of one Damayanthi (34) W/o Jagannatha Gowda R/o Alankaru village Puttur Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Jagannatha Gowda (husband) gave physical and mental harassment to Damayanthi and he also gave life threat to her.

On 07/05/2009 at 1600 hrs at Vamanjoor Junction Thiruvail village Mangalore one driver of Tipper Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-7202 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Kusuma (27) R/o Moodushedde village Mangalore a pedestrian caused her serious injuries. Further Kusuma admitted to A.J hospital where she succumbed to her injuries while on under treatment on same day at 1705 hrs.

As a result Rayal Edrian D Souza R/o Seminary Jeppu Mangalore a passenger of said auto rickshaw and Giridhar the auto rickshaw driver sustained simple injuries.

No. KA-19-B-5218 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Bicycle. As a result bicycle rider one Dinakara Prabhu (24) R/o Beluvai village Mangalore Taluk sustained grievous injuries.

On 07/05/2009 at 1430 hrs accused Kishore Rao (37) R/o Kadri Kambla Mangalore, Manoj (32) R/o Kadri Kambla Mangalore, Kiran B Shetty (34) R/o Konchady mangalore and Bhujanga Shetty (34) R/o Mullakadu picked up quarrel and started fighting over trivial issue in a public place at Lalbagh Junction Mangalore.
