- A case under Murder has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 28/05/2009 at 2030 hrs at accused some unknown persons murdered one Chethan Shetty R/o Jeppu Markert Mangalore near Marnamikatte Jeppu Kudpadi Mangalore by assulting him with sword.

- A case of Burglary has been registered in Kavoor police Station. In between 0800 hrs and 1800 hrs of 18/05/2009 accused one Keshava gained entry into the house belonging to one Mahesh Shetty (34) R/o Shiva Nagar Mudushedde village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the door lock and committed a theft of gold ornaments (26 grams) worth Rs. 30,000/.

- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. In between 2100 hrs of 28/04/2009 and 0600 hrs of 29/04/2009 some unknown culprits committed a theft of Honda Activa scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-9171 belonging to one Vinay Bhat M. R/o V.T Road Mangalore that was parked near his house. The scooter is worth Rs. 25, 000/.
- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. In between 0930 hrs and 1000 hrs of 27/03/2009 some unknown culprits committed a theft of Honda Activa scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-8470 belonging to one Mohammed Shareef (32) R/o Panemangalore Bantwal Taluk that was parked near Central Market Mangalore. The scooter is worth Rs. 20, 000/.

- A case under Cruelty by husband and his relatives, Criminal intimidation along with Dowry Prohibition Act has been registered in Women Police Station on the complaint of one Chethana P. W/o Praveen R/o Kattapuni Karambaru Bajpe. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Harish and his relatives Haridas, Rajamma, Asha, Ashith all residents of Old Kent road Pandeshwara Mangalore gave physical and mental harassment to one Renuka W/o Harish and they also gave life threat to her to bring more dowry.
- A case of Outraging the modesty of women along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 27/05/2009 at 1300 hrs accused one Andhu Kunhi gained entry into the house belonging to one Safiya (32) w/o Ilyas R/o Shivajinagar Ithuru village Puttur Taluk and tried to outrage her modesty by pulling her hand and also gave life threat to her.

On 28/05/2009 at 1500 hrs at Nisargadhama Mudushedde village Mangalore Taluk one Suresh Kumar driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-02-AA-817 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-291 due which the auto rickshaw capsized. As a result one Paul D’ Mello (47) R/o Mudushedde village Mangalore Taluk driver of said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 26/05/2009 at 1300 hrs near Veera Vittal Temple at Panemangalore village Bantwal Taluk one unknown driver of mini lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-20-A-8477 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Lashman Poojari (75) a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries. Further mini lorry driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 28/05/2009 at 1430 hrs on NH 48 at Melkar Bantwal Taluk one driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-21-M-4694 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-4347. As a result one Vasudeva Kudva rider of said scooter sustained simple injuries.

- A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace, Criminal restraint, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 28/05/2009 at 1600 hrs one Farooque R/o Nelachil Kuppepadavu criminally restrained one Sanjeeva Nalike (50) R/o Kelenjaru Kuppepadvu Mangalore near Nisha bar at Kuppepadavu Kelenjaru village Mangalore Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand also gave life threat to him owing to personal enmity.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. In between 0600 hrs and 0700 hrs of 29/05/2009 one Sunitha (21) R/o Kalleri Haleneranki village Puttur Taluk committed suicide by hanging in her house owing to personal problem.
