- A case of Burglary has been registered in Mangalore Ruarl Police Station. In between 21/05/2009 and 1900 hrs of 22/05/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Sunil Kumar (32) R/o Ganga Layout near Mahalingeshwara temple at Kankanady Mangalore by breaking the door lock and committed a theft of gold ornaments, cash Rs. 33,000/ and a mobile phone all in worth Rs. 74,000/.
- A case of Burglary has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On the intervening night of 22-23/05/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the Office belonging to HML at Panambur by breaking the door lock and committed a theft of cash Rs. 16,44,508/.

- A case of Ordinary Theft has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 23/05/2009 at 0230 hrs one unknown culprit committed a theft of cash Rs. 1, 47,500/ and Voters ID belonging to one Ahammad Koya Maulavi (72) R/o Kollam Kerala State which was kept inside the bag at Kachma Mosque hall Bundar Mangalore.

- A case under M.V. Theft has been registered in Mangalore Ruarl Police Station. On the intervening night of 19-20/05/2009 some unknown culprits committed theft of Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-02-P-3981 belonging to one Gangahdhara Gowda M (29) R/o Mani Bantwal Taluk that was parked near Marikamba temple at Maroli village Mangalore Taluk. The Maruti Omni car worth Rs.60, 000/.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 23/05/2009 at 1630 hrs on Puttur-Mani road at Patlakodi Mani village Bantwal Taluk one Harish driver of Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-4498 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-8701 due which the auto rickshaw capsized. As a result one Ashoka Purusha (25) driver of said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries and succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.
- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On 23/05/2009 at 1830 hrs at Kamila Gutthigaru village Sullia Taluk one Girish driver of Crane bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-4986 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-A-415. As a result Radhakrishna driver of auto rickshaw, Ananda Mugera (55) R/o Kamila Gutthigaru village Sullia Taluk, Dharmaprakash and a lady who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries. Further Dharmaprakash succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 22/05/2009 at 1600 hrs on NH 48 near Meramajalu cross at Arkula village Mangalore Taluk one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EF-1593 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Abdul Khadar a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 22/05/2009 at 2145 hrs on NH 17 near Durgambha garage at Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk one Chetan rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-8607 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over the vehicle due which vehicle capsized. As a result motorcycle rider Chetan and Sethumadhavan (33) R/o Uchila Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 19/05/2009 at 1930 hrs on NH 17 near Nethravathi bridge at Jappinamogru village Mangalore Taluk one John Andrade rider of Honda Activa scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-5800 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over the vehicle due which vehicle capsized. As a result Santhosh Lobo (32) R/o Neharu nagar Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk pillion rider of said scooter sustained grievous injuries.
