- A case of Burglary has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. In between 2000 hrs of 03/12/2008 and 0800 hrs of 04/12/2008 accused Kala and Dileep gained entry into the Kordabbu temple at Kankanady Mangalore by breaking the door lock and committed a theft of gold and silver ornaments. The total value of stolen property is Rs. 13,000/.

- A case under House trespass, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 05/05/2009 at 1500 hrs accused Vasudeva criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Hemavathi (36) R/o Kotragutthu Amblamogru village Mangalore Taluk and abused her in filthy language and also gave life threat to her owing to trivial issue.
- A case of Kidnapping along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Sullia Police Station. In between 06/05/2009 and 1400 hrs of 08/05/2009 accused Manoj (28) R/o Nellithadka Shibaje village Belthangdy Taluk and three other unknown persons kidnapped one Nethravathi (17) D/o Devaki R/o Koppathadka Ivarnadu village Sullia Taluk in a Maruti car and in a splendor motorcycle while she was on her way to home. Later accused persons gave life threat to Devaki owing to trivial issue.

No. KA-19-W-2795 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Abdul Hameed (54) R/o Hoigebazar Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

On 12/05/2009 at 1130 hrs at Naguri Kankanady village Mangalore Taluk one Mubasir Ahammad driver of Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-21-596 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Edwin D Souza (75) R/o Naguri Kankanady village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

On 13/05/2009 at 1130 hrs near mosque at Machila ullal village Mangalore Taluk one Mahammad Ansar driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-3043 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Afiya (04) D/o Mahammad Asif (24) R/o Malluru Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 14/05/2009 at 0900 hrs near Laxmi hotel at Puttur Town one driver of Maruti car bearing Reg. No. KA-21-M-3161 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Krishna Bhat R/o Mukrampadi Kemminje village Puttur Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries. The driver of car escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 14/05/2009 at 0730 hrs at Matadagudde Kuvettu village Belthangady Taluk one driver of Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-01-AF-6316 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing reg. No. KA-19-V-4129. As a result motorcycle rider Anwar and piliion riders Maimuna, Mohammad Mushridh (05) and Asnath Parath sustained simple injuries.

- A case under Mischief of causing damage has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 29/04/2009 accused Shyanbogh H.P and Upendra Kamath damaged the coconut tree by cutting it belonging to one Mohandas R/o Nethravathinagar Kankanady Mangalore owing to civil dispute. The worth of the damaged property is yet to be estimated.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 14/05/2009 at 0800 hrs one Janardhana (45) accidentally fell down from a Coconut tree at Sornadka Amtadi village Bantwal Taluk while removing coconut and got seriously injuries. Further he was admitted to Wenlock hospital at Mangalore where he was declared dead while under treatment on the same day at 1045 hrs.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On05/05/2009 one Sesappa Moolya (50) R/o Tharabari Ajjibettu village Bantwal Taluk attempted to commit suicide by consuming some poison in his house owing to health problem. Further he was admitted to Wenlock hospital at Mangalore where he was declared dead while under treatment on 13/05/2009 at 1900 hrs.
