- A case under Burglary has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. In between 30/04/2009 and 22/05/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the Urdu Higher Primary School at Kudroli Mangalore by breaking the door lock and committed a theft of 02 Gas cylinders. The total value of stolen property is yet to be estimated.

- A case under Cruelty by husband and his relatives, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Ullal Police Station on the complaint of one Zubaida (29) W/o Mahammad Ashraf R/o Kotepura Ullal village Mangalore Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Mahammad Ashraf (husband) and his relative Khadar @ Kurchi Khadar gave mental harassment to one Zubaida to bring more dowry and also gave life threat her.

- A case of Fatal road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. Where in one Selvaraj (50) R/o Tony road Bangalore has been declared dead while under treatment on 25/05/2009 at 2215 hrs. The said Selvaraj (50) was seriously injured by a motorcycle in a road traffic accident on 24/05/2009 at 2120 hrs near Shubhashnagar at Ullal village Mangalore Taluk and admitted to the Unity hospital at Mangalore. In this connection a case has been already registered in Ullal Police Station.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 25/05/2009 at 1400 hrs near Central Market at Mangalore one driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-7624 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Annapoorneshwari (36) R/o Jappinamogru Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries. The auto rickshaw driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 23/05/2009 at 1400 hrs near Wenlock hospital at Hampankatta Mangalore one driver of Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-5799 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Ananda Shetty (38) R/o Permannuru Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 24/05/2009 at 1630 hrs at Masthikatte Ullal village Mangalore Taluk one driver of Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-20-M-7613 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against gate at Masthikatte Ullal village Mangalore Taluk. As a result one Mohammad Akbar Ali (19) R/o Masthikatte Ullal village Mangalore Taluk who was traveling in the said car sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 24/05/2009 at 2100 hrs at Kemmanadka Badagannuru village Putur Taluk one Razak driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-2564 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Adham Kunhi (40) R/o Pattemane Badagannuru village Puttur Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

- A case under Causing death due to negligence (sec 304 A) has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 25/05/2009 at 1515 hrs one Hanumanthappa R/o Iroor Taluk Chithradurga District got electrocuted and sustained serious injuries while working near Bejai Sub Jail Mangalore due to the negligence of Management of Airtel Company Bejai Mangalore. Further he was admitted to City hospital where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on the same day.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 25/05/2009 at 1130 hrs one Kamala (55) R/o Ambulamane Charvaka village Puttur Taluk attempted to commit suicide by consuming some poison in her house owing to health problem. Further she was admitted to Pragathi hospital at Puttur Taluk where she was declared dead while under treatment on the same day.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Venoor Police Station. One Lancy Fernandese (35) R/o near Church Naravi village Belthangady Taluk was injured due to snake bite at Matadabettu Naravi village Belthangady Taluk on 24/05/2009 at 1945 hrs. He was admitted to Wenlock hospital at Mangalore where he was declared dead while under treatment on the same at 2345 hrs.
