On 27/05/2009 at 2145 hrs near Vrindavan hotel at Highland Mangalore, one Nagaveni (45) R/o Highland Mangalore was on her way to home by walk, at that time, two unknown persons came in a motorcycle and snatched the gold chain from her neck and ran away with their motorcycle. The value of property is around Rs.8, 000/.

In between 1830 hrs of 26/05/2009 and 0630 hrs of 28/05/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Dr. Nicol R Pereira R/o Sujan Cottage Valencia Mangalore by breaking the door lock and committed a theft of Gold ornaments and a Digital Camera all in worth 88,000/.
- A case of Burglary has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. In between 1000 hrs and 1330 hrs of 27/05/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Lalitha (35) R/o Thodlagudde Kunjathbail village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the door lock and committed a theft of Gold ornament (4 grams) worth 6,000/.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodbidre Police Station. On 27/05/2009 at 1430 hrs on NH 13 at Handelu Putthige village Mangalore Taluk one unknwon driver of Tempo drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Shekar Rathod L (32) R/o Hanapura Bagalkot District a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries. Further Shekar Rathod L succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on 28/05/2009 at 0900 hrs. The driver of tempo escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. In between 0100 hrs and 0600 hrs of 28/05/2009 at Kallagudde Belthangady Town one Perumal (52) rider of M80 bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-365 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which motorcycle capsized. As a result motorcycle rider Perumal sustained grievous injuries and died on the spot.

No. KA-19-W-3913 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Premalatha (59) R/o Yeyyadi Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 26/05/2009 at 0445 hrs on NH 48 at Adyar Mangalore Taluk one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-34-A-9018 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Maruti VagonR car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-1652. As a result Abdul Lathif (40) Sturruck road Mangalore driver of the car and Saiyad Sahad who was traveling in the said car sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 26/05/2009 at 1530 hrs at Punikodi Adoor village Mangalore Taluk one Sulaiman driver of autorickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-6312 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against Honda Activa scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-1064 due which both vehicles capsized. As result Mohammed (42) R/o Adooru Mangalore scooter rider, Irfan pillion rider of said scooter and two passengers who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

On 25/05/2009 at 1530 hrs on NH 48 at Melkar Panemangalore Bantwal Taluk one Rajshekar driver of Tata Indica car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-2510 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a bicycle. As a result one Rithesh (13) R/o Kaniyooru village Belthangady Taluk rider of said bicycle sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 26/05/2009 at 2100 hrs at Golikatte Pillaya village Belthanagady Taluk one Lashman Yashwanth Patel driver of vehicle bearing Reg. No. KA-22-N-6870 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control his vehicle due which vehicle capsized. As a result Chennappa Basavanthappa Desai (56) R/o Hebbali village Darwad and other passengers who traveling in the said vehicle sustained grievous injuries.

On 24/05/2009 at 1330 hrs on Darbe Subramanya road at Kurnadka Puttur Taluk one Jabbar driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-21-M-3077 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-01-7994. As a result Abdul Hameed R/o Maril Kemminje village Puttur Taluk rider of said scooter sustained grievous injuries.

On 26/05/2009 at 1630 hrs at Maripalla pudu village Bantwal Taluk one Abubakkar driver of road roller bearing Reg. No. EC-5250 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-6158. As a result motorcycle got damaged. No casualty reported.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. In between 0830 hrs and 0900 hrs of 27/05/2009 one Nisha (29) R/o Yenilmar Bajal village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging in her house owing to personal problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 27/05/2009 at 2015 hrs one Richard Soans (50) who working as Watchman in Ajith Enterprises Baikampady Mangalore was found dead near Ajith Enterprises. The death seems to be due to some illness.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 26/05/2009 at 1900 hrs one Walson Pinto @ Vasudeva P.K. R/o K.H.B colony Bondel Mangalore who was found dead near HPCL compound at Bala village Mangalore. The death seems to be due to heavy drunkenness.
