- A case of Burglary has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On the intervening night of 27-28/08/2006 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Sunil P. M. (25) R/o Putanpura house Renjalady village Belthangady Taluk by breaking the front door lock and committed theft of TV Receiver, Gas cylinder, cash Rs.125/ and other household articles all in worth Rs.15,000/.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Subramanya Police Station where in one Asiyamma (56) has been declared dead while under treatment on 29/08/2006 at 1805 hrs. The said Asiyamma was seriously injured by a motorcycle in a road traffic accident on 25/08/2006 at 1700hrs near Kerpada Yedamangala village Sullia Taluk and was admitted to hospital. In this connection a case was already registered in Subramanya Police Station.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 27/08/2006 at 2045 hrs near Kana Surathkal Mangalore Taluk one Suresh driver of Jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-21-7227 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No KA-19-U-1768. As a result motorcycle rider one Rohitha (34) R/o Lalitha Vihara Sadashiva Nagar Surathkal Mangalore Taluk sustained simple injuries.

On 28/08/2006 at 1330 hrs at Gargal Thenkabellur village Bantwal Taluk one Nandagokula rider of a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-4440 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Sathish Belchada (36) R/o Gargal House Tenkabellur village Bantwal Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 28/08/2006 at 2200 hrs one Rajshekar driver of 407 Tempo bearing Reg. No CAS-3881 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KL-04-G-23. As a result one Mohammed Abeer (21) R/o Pumpwell Mangalore rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 29/08/2006 at 1045 hrs near Yeyyadi, Mangalore Taluk one driver of a car bearing Reg. NO. KA-19-MC-23 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed to one Lancy Lobo (49) R/o Yeyyadi Konchadi Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

On 29/08/2006 at 1445 hrs near PVS Junction Mangalore Taluk one rider of Yamaha RX motorcycle bearing KA-21-H-1856 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No.KA-19-E-9585. As a result one Dakshayani (40) R/o Suraksha Vivekananda Nagar Kodikal Mangalore rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No KA-19-E-9585 sustained simple injuries.

- A case of Hurt with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 29/08/2006 at 0845 hrs accused Thowsif, Anjumu, Nizam and Sakir entered stopped a School bus at Kurnadka Kemminje village Puttur Taluk and abused one Marshal Mothero (35) driver of the bus in filthy language and assaulted him with wooden stick and also damaged the bus owing to personal enmity .
- A case under Criminal restraint and Hurt has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 28/08/2006 at 2230 hrs four unknown persons criminally restrained a 407 Tempo bearing Reg. No. CAS-3881 driven by one Rajashekara (42) R/o Bejai Mangalore Taluk near Lalbagh Junction and assaulted him by hand and damaged the Tempo. The Motive seems to be that the Tempo driver dashed his vehicle to a motorcycle near PVS Juction.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 28/08/2006 at 1930 hrs one Narashinha Moorthi (25) R/o Konadooru Theerthahali Taluk Shimoga district while walking near Kaikamba suddenly fell down and got injured. He was admitted to A.J. Hospital Mangalore and there while undergoing treatment he was declared dead.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 29/08/2006 at 1015 hrs one Nagesh (22) R/o Kamaje House Bantwal Taluk accidentally slipped into water pond while walking near his house got drowned and died.

- A Man missing case has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. One Clorin Nazarath (16) R/o Navoor village Bantwal Taluk who went to Perla Church on 27/08/2006 did not return there after to his house. He is found missing since then.
