2. Non Fatal: 02- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 01/08/2006 at 1300 hrs near Padavu Juction Nathoor Mangalore the unknown driver of Mahindra Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-3508 drove his vehicle in rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Honda Activa scooter Reg. No. KA-19-U-696. As result the motor cycle rider Suman Shenoy(26) and pillion rider Shreyas Shenoy (05) sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Sation. On 02/08/2006 at 1530 hrs the driver of Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-20-A-1621 drove his vehicle in rash and negligent manner and dashed to a motorcycle Reg. No. KA-19-U-3538 from the back. As a result motorcycle rider Shivananda K (47) and pillion rider Sachin were injured seriously.

Amusement and Leisure Park limited, Franklin Lobo and the Senior Manager of Sydicate Bank, Bejai Branch Mangalore have together colluded and forged an Account payee cheque given by John D'souza Chairman M/s. G.M. Amusement and Leisure Park limited to the account of Henry Noronhan as bearer cheque and drew the sum of Rs.4,90,000/.

On 02/08/2006 at 1445 hrs near Swagath Hotel, Gandhinagar, Sullai Taluk accused persons Ravikumar, Monappa, Divijakumar @ Ammanna and Lolaksha abused one Rajkumar (33) Permunda Peraje Village Madikeri Taluk in filthy language and also assaulted him with a broken cold drink bottle and tried to kill him owing to civil dispute.

On 02/08/2006 at 1000 hrs near Thoranakatte, Punacha village, Vittla Prakash (24) and Krishna Naik enquired one Ramesh about teasing Prakash’s Sister. At that time Ramesh abused Prakash in filthy language and assaulting him with a knife and tried to kill him.

- A case of Obstructing of public servant to discharge his duty and intent to outraging the modesty of woman along with criminal intimidation has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 02/08/2006 at 1630 hrs accused Abdul Aziz obstructed the public servant Ganesh Narayana Alva by abusing him in filthy language and also insulted the modesty of Beepathumma member of Talapady Grama Pachayath and other officials who were present at the Grama Pachayath meeting which was held at DK ZP HP School Pattana Talpadi relating to the issue of Ration card.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 02/08/2006 at 1730 hrs one Devaki (80) w/o Late Devanna Nayak, Madaka House Marilu Kemminje village Puttur Taluk sustained serious burn injuries while trying to light a kerosene lamp. She was admitted to Govt. Hospital Puttur and there while under treatment she succumbed to her injuries.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. One Ananda (43) Kulaigudde Mangalore committed suicide by hanging in his house on 02/08/2006 at 2230 hrs owing to health problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 03/08/2006 at 0730 hrs one Alpi M P (27) near Shion Ashram Gandibagilu Neriya village committed suicide by consuming poison owing to personal problem.
- A case of Man missing has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. One Ganapathi (30) Kumta Uttara Kannada working at Mangalore has been found missing since 29/07/2006.
