- A case under the Prevetion of Cow slaughter Act has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 13/08/2006 at 0500 hrs PSI Panambur PS on credible information conducted raid on a small shed in the compound of Bebuza Mazil house near Mosque at Angaragundi Mangalore Taluk belonging to M.K. Bhashir (46) R/o Angaragundi and seized 33 kgs of cow meat, a cattle and a Maruti omni bearing Reg. No. KA-12-M-4358 which was used for transporting the cattle meat. M.K. Bhashir (46) R/o Angaragundi, Mohammed Shamir (20) R/o Jokatte and Badruddin (22) R/o Hirebailu Mudigere village of Chikmaglure district.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 23/05/200 at 2000 hrs one Hilda Lobo (45) W/o Bapiest Lobo R/o Alike house Muduperara village Mangalore Taluk sustained serious burn injuries while trying to light kerosene stove in her house. She was admitted to the A. J. Hospital Mangalore and there while under treatment she succumbed to her injuries on 23/05/2006 at 2030 hrs.
