- A case of MV theft has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On 24/08/2006 at 2030 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of Hero Honda Dawn motorcycle bearing Reg. No KA-21-H-9317 belonging to one Deviprasad (54) Lecturer SVS college Subramanya which was parked near car street Subramanya Sullia taluk worth Rs.25,000/.
- A case of outraging the modesty of woman and house trespass along with criminal intimidation has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 23/08/2006 at 1300 hrs accused Suraj Shetty and three others trespassed into the house of one Kokila Anchan (34) W/o Prabhakar Bangera R/o 3rd cross Kapikad Ullal village Mangalore Taluk and insulted her by abusing her in filthy language, outraged her modesty and also gave life threat to her. The motive for this seems to be financial transaction between the accused and Kokila Anchan’s Husband Prabhakar Bangera.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urva Police Station. On 23/08/2006 at 1830 hrs near Krishna complex Chilimbi Mangalore one driver of 407 Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-2573 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a TVS Scooty bearing Reg. No. KA-19-J-6746 from behind. As a result Bhavani (47) R/o PWD Quarters Urva store Mangalore Taluk who was riding the TVS Scooty sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 24/08/2006 at 1000 hrs on NH 17 Uchila Someshwara village Ullal Mangalore Taluk one Philip D’Souza driver of Jeep bearing Reg. No KA-19-Z-6155 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Ibrahim M.S (48) R/o Ajjinadka Mullugudde Kotekar a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

The alleged incident has occured in the month of May 05 where in accused Devadas Shetty (66), Kurian AC (40), Cherian Niliar (66) and Damodhar Shetty (61) have together colluded and forged one sale deed and cheated one Dr.B.R Shetty.
- A case of Cheating and Forgery has been registered in Surathkal Police Station on the complaint of one Santhosh Kumar Kadri Deputy General Manger (P & HR) MRPL Bala village Mangalore Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that between 05/12/2005 and 31/03/206 the drivers and owners of 08 Lorries, Transport agents and some employees of MRPL BDFU yard have colluded together and transported Bitumen from MRPL by using forged documents and cheated Rs.61,66,000/ to the Company.

- A case of Hurt along with criminal intimidation has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 23/08/2006 at 1200 hrs near Kotepura Ullal Mangalore Taluk accused Kunhimonu @ Abdul Lathief and Ashraf abused one Abdul Hameed (46) S/o Mohammed U.K R/o Kairunnisa Manzil Kotepura Ullal Mangalore Taluk in filthy language and assaulted by hand and also gave life threat owing to personall rivalry.

On 24/08/2006 at 1020 hrs PI Mangalore North PS seized Ganja (100 gms) worth Rs. 700/ by arresting one Ambi (45) S/o Somanathan R/o Arthilparadam house Kadekodam Taluk Trivendrum who was found selling Ganja near Tempo Park at service bus stand Mangalore.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 24/08/2006 one Ramakrishna (50) R/o Kepulakana house Badaganoor village Puttur Taluk was suffering from fever and was admitted at Ishwaramangala Health Centre. As his condition deteriorated, he was being shidted for further treatment to Mangalore He however breathed his last enroute.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 08/08/2006 at 1300 hrs one Babu Naik (45) R/o Aksharpura Beluvayai village fell from the tree while attempting to cut the tree branch at the farm belonging to one Ganesh Pai Beluvai and got seriously injured. He was admitted to Wenclock hospital Mangalore where he was declared dead while under treatment on 25/08/2006
