• A case of theft has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On the intervening night of 04/08/2006 some unknown culprits gained entry into the DK ZPHP School Panjimogaru Mangalore Taluk by removing roof tiles and committed theft of sports articles and a band set all in worth Rs. 3,000/.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 05/08/2006 at 1710 hrs near Kallapu Permannur village Mangalore Taluk one Narayana driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AB-7575 drove his vehicle in rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly with out giving signal due which the the car bearing Reg. No KA-19-A-Z-6566 which was behind the Lorry rammed to it from the back. In the mean while another Bus bearing Reg.No KA-19-C-2410 also lost control and dashed the same car from back. As a result the driver of the car Ramamanda (37) R/o Sharmila Nilaya, Kotekar and his children Sasmitha and Rashimta sustained simple injuries.


• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 05/08/2006 at 1020 hrs near Gurunarayana Mandir Halengady Mangalore Taluk one Siddappa driver of Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-20-A-8217 drove his vehicle in rash and negligent manner and dashed against a 407 Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-655. As a result the tempo capsized and the driver of Tempo Hussain @ Hasan Saab Polisa, and other two persons Abdul Kalandar and Abdul Azeem who were in the tempo sustained serious injuries.


• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 27/07/2006 at 1245 hrs opposite Indial oil petrol pump Bangra Kulur Mangalore Taluk one Yuvaraj driver of Tipper Lorry bearing Reg. No KA-30-A-7073 drove his vehicle in rash and negligent manner and dashed against one motorcycle bearing Reg.N0 KA-19-S-6067. As a result the motorcycle rider Muneer Ahmed (24) of Bengre sustained serious injuries.


• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 04/08/2006 at 1930 hrs one Vijay Kumar driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No KA-19-6888 drove his vehicle in rash and negligent manners and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No KA-19-A-2925. As a result the car driver Sundara Rai (50) sustained serious injuries.

• A case of Missing person has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. One Veerappa Poojary (67) of Kallaje Kadeshivalya who went to B.C.Road on 02/08/2006 did not return to his house there after and found missing.


• A case of Boy Missing has been registered in Managlore South Police Station. Two boys Sathwik (11) and Mahendra (11) who went to St. Anns Primary School on 05/08/2006 at 0830 hrs did not return to their homes there after.
