In between 07/01/2008 and 09/01/2008 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Mary Cutinho (62 ) R/o Maria Premagudde Maroli Mangalore by breaking the front door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments and cash Rs. 10,000/ all in worth Rs. 1,10, 800/.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 08/01/2008 at 2030 hrs on NH-17 at Thokkuttu Mangalore one Dinesh driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-3980 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result one Balamurali (37) R/o Kankanady Mangalore who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 08/01/2008 at 0730 hrs at Light House Thokuru village Mangalore Taluk one Abdul Aziz driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-7789 drove his in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-K-6831. As a result motorcycle rider Raghavendra Bhat (42) R/o Thokuru village Mangalore Taluk and Vasudeva Bhat pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 06/01/2008 at 1600 hrs at Marnabail Sajipamunnur village Bantwal Taluk one Keshava rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-8384 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Johara a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 06/01/2008 at 1300 hrs on Uppinangady- Kadaba road at Herebandadi village Puttur Taluk one Ananda driver of jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-21-4449 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Khathijamma (55) R/o Kemmara Heribandady village Puttur Taluk a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 03/01/2008 at 1330 hrs at Kualcharu Aranthodu village Sullia Taluk one Abdul Khadar (48) R/o Udupi district rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-S-6786 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly due which motorcycle capsized. As a result one Gunapal U. G. (46) R/o Yenekallu Subramanya village Sullia Taluk pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 08/01/2008 at 2130 hrs on Kadoor-Bantwal road Ujire village Belthangady Taluk one Mohammed driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-25-C-59 drove his in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-9878. As a result motorcycle rider Deepak and Nithin Kumar pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.

On 08/01/2008 at 1730 hrs at Kotekani junction Kottara cross Mangalore accused Rohi @ Rohithaksha (41), Naveen D’ Kunha (35), Rego B.J. @ Bonvenchar John Rego (45) abused one Padmanabha B. (47) R/o Barebail Bejai Kapikad Mangalore in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to financial issue.

• A case under Hurt has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 08/01/2008 at 2300 hrs in front of Padmabha complex at Sullia Town accused Sheshakumar and Suresha assaulted one Deviprasad (20) R/o Kanthamagala Ajjavara village Sullia Taluk with soda bottle owing to trivial issue.

• A case of Women missing has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. One Pavithra (18) W/o Anantha Narayana R/o Bangara Kuloor Mangalore left her house on 07/01/2008 at 1400 hrs and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing then.
