- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 14/01/208 at 2145 hrs at Morangallu cross Aletti village Sullia Taluk one Shakthi Prasad driver of Jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-13-M-1354 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which jeep capsized. As a result Jeep driver Shakthi Prasad, Chandrashekar P. R (34) R/o Kasargod district Kerala State, Ravi and other 7 persons who were traveling in the said Jeep sustained serious injuries. Further Ravi succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

The said Somappa Madiwala was seriously injured by an Pickup vehicle in a road traffic accident on 08/01/2008 at 1800 hrs at Sorake Sarve village Puttur Taluk and admitted to the Wenlock Hospital at Mangalore. No. KA-04-EA-5209. As a result motorcycle rider one Vishnu (19) C/o SDM Law college Kodiyalbail Mangalore sustained simple injuries.

No. KA-35-4396 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Kalyani (57) R/o Katipalla village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused her grievous injuries.

No. KA-44-422 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Parameshwarayya (28) R/o Chikkanayakana Halli Tumakur district a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. The lorry driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

On 13/01/2008 at 1930 hrs on NH 17 at Padupanambur village Mangalore Taluk one Rafique driver of Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-01-P-9737 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which Maruti Omni car capsized. As a result Rafique driver of Maruti Omni car, Mayyaddi, Ahamed and Mumtaz who were traveling in the said Maruti omni car sustained simple injuries.

No. MEG-7987 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. GA-01-1B-7698. As a result motorcycle rider one Dr. Ganesh Mallar (23) R/o Kerala State sustained simple injuries.

No. KA-19-U-1050 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Malthesha @ Mahanthesha a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries. Further motorcycle rider lost control over his vehicle due which motorcycle capsized. As a result Alphonse Lionel Vegas pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

As a result motorcycle rider Sharath (28) R/o Handelu Puttige village Mangalore Taluk and Chandrahasa pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

As a result auto rickshaw driver Ashraf, Ibrahim (60) R/o Ajjavara village Sullia Taluk and Nazeera who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
