On 23/01/2008 at 1400 hrs on cridible information ASI Konaje PS along with staff conducted a raid on at Nethilapadavu Naringana village Bantwal Taluk and seized a Sachet manufacturing machine, 4500 sachets of arrack and other raw material. On seeing the police team, accused Guruprasad Shetty @ Annu, Aravinda @ Annu and Abukkar Sidque who were managed to escape from the place.
Total worth of porpetry seized is Rs. 1,52,500/
In this connection, a case has been registered in Konaje PS under Karnataka Excise Act.
