On the evening of 31/12/2007 on credible information Nagaraj A.D. PI DCIB along with his staff have raided two video game centers near old bus stand at Mangalore. At the time of raid Police found 04 persons who were indulging in gambling activity. The Police seized cash Rs. 2,500/ and 2 video game boxes from the spot by arresting Srinivasa (45) R/o Kuloor Mangalore, Ganesha K. (56) R/o Hampankatte Mangalore, Farooq (29) R/o Konaje village Mangalore Taluk and Rajesh (24) R/o Permannur village Mangalore Taluk who were indulging in gambling.
In this connection, a case has been registered against the arrested persons in Mangalore North Police Station PS U/s 79, 80 of the Karnataka Police Act.
