• A case of MV theft has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 10/01/2008 in between 1730 hrs and 1830 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Hero Honda motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-4609 belonging to one Suresh (26) R/o Ashokanagara Mangalore that was parked near cost guard compound at Panambur Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 28,000/.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered Mangalore East Police Station. On 11/01/2008 at 1600 hrs at Bikarnakatte Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-8381 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Prathiksha D/o Shankara R/o Bikarnakatte Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 08/01/2008 at 1915 hrs at Thiplepadavu Konaje village Mangalore Taluk one Abdul Rahiman driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-3264 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Jerome Cutinha (45) R/o Asaigoli MangaloreTaluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 11/01/2008 at 1700 hrs near Deralakatte busstand at Belma village Mangalore Taluk one Jayaram driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-3999 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner due which one Irfan (14) who was traveling in the said bus was thrown out of the bus and sustained simple injuries.

On 10/01/2008 at 0915 hrs at Suralpady Badagulipady village Mangalore Taluk one Vasantha Poojary driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-5301 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Habeeba (12) a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 10/01/2008 at 1900 hrs at Marnabail Sajipamunnr village Bantwal Taluk one Mouris driver of jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-19-M-8821 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-10-W-8624. As a result Shrinivasa (24) R/o Sajipamooda village Bantwal Taluk rider of motorcycle and Jalandar pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 10/01/2008 at 0915 hrs at Panjigaru Kalanja village Sullia Taluk one Santhosh driver of jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-21-6801 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-5201. As a result one Umadevi (27) R/o Bellare Suilla Taluk rider of said scooter sustained grievous injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 22/12/2007 at 1630 hrs at Belthangady Town one unknown rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-632 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Rakshitha (11) a pedestrian and caused her grievous injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

Unnatural Death Report: 02

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Rural Station. On 10/01/2008 at 1615 hrs one Mohammed Feroz (25) R/o Lathehar district Jarkand State accidentally fell down and got serious injuries while working at A.M.R. Power Projects at Shambur village Bantwal Taluk. Further he was admitted to Fr. Mullur hospital at Mangalore were he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on the same day at 1945 hrs.
  
• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. In between 10/01/2008 and 11/01/2008 at 0800 hrs one Vishalakshi (31) R/o Deva Devachalla village Sullia Taluk committed suicide by hanging near her house owing to personal problem.

Missing Persons: 01

• A case of Man missing has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. One Murugan (60) R/o Kulaigudde Mangalore left his house on 07/01/2008 at 0500 hrs and did not return to his house there after. He was found missing since then.
