• A case under Criminal trespass along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 15/01/2008 at 1830 hrs accused Jayaprakasha and other two persons criminally trespassed into the house belonging one Rathnavathi J. Suvarna R/o Pandeshwara Mangalore and gave life threat to her. The motive seems to be financial dispute between Ratnavathi J. Suvarna and accused persons.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Station. On 15/01/2008 at 2010 hrs at Valencia Mangalore one driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-1734 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-952 due which auto rickshaw driver lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result one Saleem (25) R/o Jeppu Patna Mangalore driver of said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 13/01/2008 at 2130 hrs on NH-17 at Adamkudru Jeppinamogeru Mangalore one Prasanna Kumar rider of Kinetic Honda scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-6205 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which the scooter capsized. As a result one Lancy Sequire pillion rider of the said scooter sustained grievous injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 14/01/2008 at 1930 hrs near Alva’s Health Center at Marpady village Mangalore Taluk one Aboobakkar driver of Indica car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-9778 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Rajesh S. (18) R/o Keelukote village Kolara District a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 15/01/2008 at 0745 hrs on Beluvai-Moodabidre road at Jainpete Marpady village Mangalore Taluk one Chethan driver of Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-9343 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-05-M-1949. As a result one Manikya N. (42) R/o Jainpete Marpady village Mangalore Taluk driver of said Maruti Omni car sustained simple injuries.

• A case under Rioting, Criminal trespass, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 15/01/2008 at 1630 hrs accused Violet Squire, Saritha, Zenith and other two persons forming into an unlawful assembly and criminally trespassed into the land belonging to one Yuwon W/o Ajith R/o Ashokanagara Mangalore and abused her and her mother in filthy language and assaulted them by hand and with iron rod and also gave life threat to them owing to trivial issue.

• A case under Criminal trespass, Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 15/01/2008 at 1715 hrs accused one Kelvin Squire criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Violet Siquire (55) R/o Mannagudde Mangalore abused her in filthy language and assaulted her with iron rod owing to trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 11/01/2008 at 1300 hrs one Laxman Acharya (45) accidentally fell down while working at Manchakal Sangabettu village Bantwal Taluk due to some illness. Further he was admitted Wenlock hospital at Mangalore where he was declared dead while under treatment on 15/01/2008 at 0015 hrs. The death seems to be due some illness.
