- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 25/01/2008 at 1915 hrs in front bus stand at Urwastores Mangalore one driver of bus Root No.13D drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Anil (20) R/o Madikeri Kodagu district a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 24/01/2008 at 0915 hrs at Chembugudde Permannur village Mangalore Taluk one Ashoka driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-9761 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Latha (31) R/o Prashanthnagara Permannur village Mangalore and Yashoda who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 26/01/2008 at 1730 hrs on NH 48 at B.C. road Bantwal Town one unknown rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-3339 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Lalitha (66) R/o Navoor village Bantwal Taluk a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

On 26/01/2008 at 1115 hrs on credible information PI Mangalore North PS along with staff conducted a raid at a petty stall at Hampankatta Mangalore and seized duplicate 550 CDs of T-Series company by arresting Nasir (19) R/o Ramakunja village Puttur Taluk and Khadar (42) R/o Munnur village Mangalore. The seized property is worth Rs. 60,000/.
