In between 1100 hrs and 2100 hrs of 10/05/2009 some unknown culprits committed a theft of a Bajaj Pulsor motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-2088 belonging to one Roopesh Kottary (29) R/o Pumpwell Mangalore that was parked near Classic Automobile shop at Pumpwell Mangalore. The worth of motorcycle is Rs. 35,000/.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Traffic East Police Station. On 06/10/2009 at 1000 hrs near Karangalapady at Mangalore one driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-3977 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-8214. As a result auto rickshaw driver one Vittala (46) R/o Barebail Bejai Mangalore sustained simple injuries and auto rickshaw also got damaged.

On 07/10/2009 at 0530 hrs on Uralandy Bypass road at Puttur Town one Squira Joseph Ronald driver of KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-01-F-8430 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-21-A-2364. As a result tempo driver one Udaya Kumar R/o Adyaru Jalsoor village Sullia Taluk and 10 other passengers who were traveling in the said tempo sustained simple injuries.

- A case under Criminal trespass, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, along with Hurt has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 07/10/2009 at 0930 hrs accused one Walter Vas criminally trespassed into the land belonging to one Prakash Saldana (31) R/o Baligara Kodi Bantwal Town and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him with wooden stick owing to civil dispute between them.

On 07/10/2009 at 1300 hrs on credible information PI NDC CID Mangalore along with staff intercepted a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. CNX-2274 and Honda Activa scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-4495 near bus stand at Kulashekara Padavu village Mangalore Taluk and seized 510 grams of Heroin (worth Rs. 50,000,00/) being transported illegally by arresting Mohammed Nilchar (23) R/o Kulashekara Mangalore and Arona Roshan Dimello @ Roshan (18) R/o Kulashekara Mangalore. The motorcycle, Honda Activa scooter and a Mobile Phone has also been seized.
- A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 07/10/2007 at 1030 hrs on credible information HC 1184 Uppinangady PS along with staff conducted on public place at Holegandy Kowkaady village Puttur Taluk and seized 28 liquor bottles (each 180 ml) of worth Rs. 950/ by arresting Honnappa Rane (52) R/o Kalanja village Belthangady Taluk who was selling these arrack bottles illegally there.

- A case of Boy missing has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On Anwar Sadik (18) R/o Shanthibettu Kowkardy village Puttur Taluk left his house on 05/10/2009 and did not return his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
- A case of Girls missing has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 07/10/2009 at 0930 hrs Radhika (120 and Mamatha (15) both residing in Govt. hostel at Venoor went to school and did not return to hostel there after. They have been found missing since then.
