In between 2100 hrs of 19/10/2009 and 0900 hrs of 20/10/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the shop belonging to one Saleem U. M (37) R/o T.C. Road Ullal village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the door lock and committed a theft of Cash 1,60,000/.

- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. In between 1000 hrs and 2030 hrs of 17/10/2009 some unknown culprits committed theft of a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-2616 belonging to one Praveen K (37) R/o Badaga Bellur village Bantwal Taluk that was parked in front of Bharath Auto Mobile Shop at BC road Bantwal Town. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 25,000/.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered Moodabidre Police Station. On 19/10/2009 at 1315 hrs Moranthabettu Kallamundkur village Mangalore Taluk one Ashoka Puthran rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-E-7591 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due motorcycle fell into a roadside ditch. As a result Shravan (16) R/o Karkala Taluk Udupi District pillion rider of said motorcycle died on the spot.
- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 19/10/2009 at 1430 hrs at Patladka Kowkardy village Puttur Taluk one Shivappa driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-01-7060 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-493. As a result car driver Balakrishna Poojary sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.

No. KL-14-G-4244 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Shantha Bhai R/o Kunjatthabail Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 18/10/2009 at 1900 hrs at Kolya Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk one Niranjana rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-9800 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Honda Activa scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-3132. As a result Honda Activa scooter rider Navya Raj and Ganesh Raj pillion rider of said Honda Activa scooter sustained grievous injuries.

On 18/10/2009 at 1900 hrs near Pakshikere at Kemral village Mangalore Taluk one Prasanna rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-6820 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Anish a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 19/10/2009 at 1800 hrs at Guddeyangady Maroor village Mangalore Taluk one driver of KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-31-F-1058 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-545. As a result car driver Shreyas S. Hegde (22), Shravya, Sumathi, Shekara Hegde and Divakara Hegde who were traveling in the said car sustained grievous injuries.

On 15/10/2009 at 1830 hrs accused one Abudl Kunhi (20), Sharif P.M (24), Husainar (22) and Muneer abused one Sadananda E.N. (22) in filthy language near DKZP school at Ajjawara village Sullia Taluk and assaulted him with wooden stick and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 17/10/2009 at 0900 hrs one Guddappa Gowda (58) accidentally slipped into the Kumaradhara river while taking bath at Kemmana Mugeri Bilinele village Puttur Taluk and died due drowning.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. In between 1400 hrs and 1500 hrs of 19/10/2009 one Sundari Bhandary (65) R/o Botyadi Sarve village Puttur Taluk accidentally slipped into a pond near her house while taking bath and died due drowning.

- A case of Girl missing has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. One Lakshmi (18) R/o Agarangadi Maninalkuru village Bantwal Taluk left her house on 12/10/2009 at 0930 hrs and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
