A case under NDPS Act has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 25/10/2009 at 1700 hrs on credible information PI Puttur Town PS along with staff intercepted an Activa Honda scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-21-7035 by arresting one Chandra @ Chandrashekara (44) R/o Boluvaru Puttur Town seized 360 grams of Ganja worth Rs.5, 000 that were being transported illegally. The motorcycle is also been seized. The Total worth of seized property is Rs. 25,000/.
In this connection, a case has been registered in Puttur Town PS under NDPS Act 1985.
