On 17/10/2009 at 1845 hrs on specific information PI Mangalore South PS along with staff conducted raided in the room No.306 at Moti Mahal Hotel Mangalore. At the time of raid Police found 16 persons playing “Ander - Bahar” with cards. The Police seized cash Rs. 3,05,065/ and playing cards from the spot by arresting Karunakara, Hasainar, Anwar, Stony, Krishna, Praveen Kumar, Rajesh, Manukumar, Vincent D Souza, Jokim, Roshan, Prasad Kumar, Ismail, Wilfred D Souza, Anil Kumar and Manjayya Hegde who were indulging in gambling.
In this connection, a case has been registered against the arrested persons in Mangalore South PS U/s 78 of the Karnataka Police Act.
