- A case under Murder has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 05/10/2009 at 2100 hrs one unknown dead body was found near Utility Royal Towers building at K.S. Rao road Mangalore. As there was some suspicion regarding the cause of death, it was taken as death under suspicious circumstances and investigation taken up. During course of this investigation, it was revealed that the deceased was actually assaulted by some unknown person with a deadly weapon and was thrown from the Utility Royal Towers building K.S. Rao road Mangalore. Hence the case has been altered to that of Murder.

In between 1500 hrs and 1740 hrs of 13/10/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Manorama S.K. (56) R/o Kunjoorupanja Aryapu village Putur Taluk and committed a theft of Gold ornaments worth Rs. 3,80,000/.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Traffic East Police Station. On 12/10/2009 at 1215 hrs near bus stand at Nandigudde Mangalore one Phiophil (72) R/o Valencia Sooterpete Mangalore passenger of the route no bus while getting into the bus, the driver of bus moved the bus in a negligent manner due which he fell down from the bus and sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 13/10/2009 at 1310 hrs on NH 17 near Sadhu beedi towers at Bangrakuloor Mangalore one Joseph D Souza driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-D-007 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Hussain a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 07/10/2009 at 1745 hrs at Kundadabettu Nitpade village Belthangady Taluk one driver Santro car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-M-3148 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Justin Royal Fernandes a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. The driver of car escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 11/10/2009 at 2200 hrs at Bappalige Puttur Town one Ananda rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-1800 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Bharath a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On 11/10/2009 at 1830 hrs near KSRTC bus stand at Subramnya Sullia Taluk one Chandra driver of Pickup vehicle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-6997 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Suresh P (29) R/o Kasaragod Kerala State a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 12/10/2009 at 2330 hrs on NH 48 near Golithottu bridge Golikatte village Puttur Taluk one driver of Tempo traveler bearing Reg. No. KA-05-C-8082 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner due which the driver lost control over the vehicle and capsized. As a result Rajeeva R/o Thuruvekere Tumkur District and other passengers who were traveling in the said vehicle sustained simple injuries.

- A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 13/10/2009 at 1700 hrs on credible information PSI Bantwal Rural PS along with staff conducted a raid on an open place near Farangipete Pudu village Bantwal Taluk and seized 20 liquor bottles (each 180 ML) of worth Rs. 1,080/ by arresting Gangadhara Saphalya (48) R/o Valachil Arkula village Mangalore Taluk who was selling these liquor bottles illegally there.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. In between 12/10/2009 and 0730 hrs of 13/10/2009 one Ramanna @ Ramesh (50) R/o Merla Keyyuru village Puttur Taluk commited suicide by hanging near his house owing to personal problem.

- A case of Girl missing has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. One Sakhina (19) R/o Isubhu Maninalkooru village Bantwal Taluk left her house on 05/10/2009 and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
