On 30/09/2009 at 1800 hrs ASI Konaje PS along with his staff on routine patrolling intercepted a 407-tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-9533 at Natekal junction Belma village Mangalore Taluk and seized 28 wooden logs worth Rs 8,000/ that were being transported illegally by Moiddin Kunhi D @ Bavakunhi R/o D.G Katte Kairangala village Bantwal Taluk. The 407 tempo has also been seized.
The total value of property seized is yet to be estimated.
In this connection, a case has been registered in Konaje PS under the Karnataka Forest Act.
